Diana Legdanová is a graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Business Administration in Košice, Department of Management. She started her working career in 2003 at the company Východoslovenská energetika as a professional assistant to the Board of Directors. Since 2004, she worked in the company as the head of the Personnel Development department, responsible for selection procedures and employee development. In this position, in 2007 she won the Slovak HR Gold Award in the Personnel Projects category for an innovative approach in the field of adaptation of new employees.

In 2010, she expanded her area of responsibility to include the health and safety agenda and quality management. In 2012, after the creation of a separate department responsible for security (Security), she changed her previous work in HR and became the head of this department, whose competence is BCM, crisis management, physical security, information security, including the personal data protection agenda, and since 2017 and IT Security governance. After the successful large-scale implementation of the GDPR as well as the Cyber Act in the companies of the VSE Holding Group, she currently holds several roles - she is the head of the Security and Health and Safety departments, the Cyber Security Manager and also the Data Protection Officer.
