Andrej Gono
He is the co-founder and CEO of Citymind, a company developing AI solutions for municipalities, universities, and enterprises. He is also a PhD candidate at Mendel University in Brno, where his research focuses on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and AI agents for public sector applications. He also leads the development team behind the university's official mobile app. His expertise lies at the intersection of the technical requirements of AI deployment and the business strategy of product building and B2G (Business-to-Government) sales. He publicly discusses how local governments and universities can outpace the state in the AI transformation, and why they are the ideal testing ground for what will later be implemented at the ministerial level. Citymind operates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with ambitions to expand internationally by digitizing public administration using artificial intelligence.

Why ChatGPT Doesn't Belong in Government Offices and What Safe AI for Public Administration Looks Like (10 min)
ChatGPT is a quick fix for government agencies, but it also poses a huge risk. Leaks of sensitive data, hallucinations, and no integration with the city's internal systems. At Citymind, we've gone from a student project to a provider of AI solutions for Czech and Slovak municipalities over the past four years. We've implemented projects such as a European initiative for Prague 6. In this presentation, I'll demonstrate what an AI assistant for public officials, built on AI agents, looks like and what integrations are possible.
