JUDr. Alexandra Horná has been employed at The Office of The Deputy Prime Minister of Slovak republic for investments and informatization since July 2017. After being appointed as a lawyer at the Department of Public Procurement in July 2017, she has been reassigned to the Department of governance of licenses and central IT procurement. Currently she is dealing with central public procurement while cooperating with the largest ministries and other state offices. From January 2019 she has been appointed as chairman of a working party „Public procurement IKT“, that will introduce a Concept of buying IT in public service/administration. In her previous occupation she was focusing on the public administration processes including decisions of state bodies and various measures of appeals. In 2018 she successfully defended her JUDr. thesis at the Charles University in Prague.
What changes have occurred in the ICT Purchasing Concept in Public Administration since the ITAPA 2018 Autumn Conference? What does the approved Concept bring and how will it help to procure large IT projects for Public Authorities and for IT companies? Next step - how will the working group proceed in the future? What will be the continuation of the concept of purchasing ICT in public administration?
