Worldwide, healthcare systems are on the brink of their economic choices in seeking to provide quality care to their populations at affordable costs. Research in Europe has shown that up to 50% of health problems can be resolved by remote patient monitoring using telemedicine technology.
The TelenetDoctor ™ vision is to introduce "preventive primary care available anytime, anywhere" through its own, unique, easy-to-access, affordable, easy and intuitive usable platform. It continuously monitors the vital functions of patients according to individually set parameters according to the patient's needs based on his underlying chronic disease. These unique features are achieved by combining the latest software solutions, state-of-the-art technology with telemetric devices, and with the ability to continually evaluate measured values. The platform, including also a warning system, can (inter-) actively send notifications to the designated provider via SMS and / or e-mail if the measured parameter exceeds the set limit values. TelenetDoctor ™ helps to maintain an indispensable relationship between the doctor and the patient and to make them more interactive. To minimize implementation costs, TelenetDoctor uses existing Internet and communication infrastructure. For ease of use, user convenience and efficiency, system functions are available through smartphones, tablets, laptops or PCs
The platform monitors vital parameters that are relevant for patients with chronic illnesses. It is both "open-front" and "open-end" enabling its modularity and flexibility in introducing additional parameters with appropriate medical measuring devices based on requirements and feedback from its users. The implementation of TelenetDoctorTM supports the key pillars of the health system, namely:
- Human resources in healthcare
- Providing services and improving quality
- Medicine and technology
- Cost savings
