He graduated Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He is specializing on application of information technologies. He worked as a computer programmer, analyst, and coordinator of projects in engineering industry, power engineering, and in company that is among chief international corporations in information technologies.

Since 1996 he is dealing with implementation of management quality systems according to STN EN ISO 9001 standard.

Today he is advisor for software engineering and management quality systems. Besides advisory and education services he also leads projects for implementation of management quality systems, mainly for providers of information technology services and projects.

Since 2004 he is a member of technical commission TK 37 in the Slovak Standards Institute. He is an expert for management quality systems in sub commission for software engineering.

    Standard STN EN ISO 9001:2000 – Quality management systems – Requirements, is basic standard for certification of quality management systems in organizations. This standard, issued by International Organization for Standardization, was implemented by Slovak Institute for Technical Standardisation also in the system of Slovak technical norms.

    The presentation will explain basic requirements for quality management systems and information about related ISO standards, supporting the achievement and fulfilment of required criteria.

    The presentation is based on practical experience and will present a procedure of creation and implementation of quality mangement systems into management of organization. Costs and benefits of implementation of quality system in organization will also be described.
