Annette Vendelbo
Annette Vendelbo has a great passion for project management and the factors that are key to project success. Her background is in project and people management in global it and consulting firms such as Reuters, Digital, HP, and Avanade.
In 2009 she founded the project management consultancy firm, Xvoto ApS delivering project and program management, as well as training and advisory services. Furthermore, Annette's focus is on implementation and use of project methodology, the combination of more traditional project management methods with agile principles such as Scrum and Kanban, and bringing both to optimal use.
Annette has been deeply engaged in project management since 1995. She was PMI certified in 1999, later followd by several certifications among others PRINCE2 and Scrum. She has served on the board of directors of PMI Denmark Chapter since 2005 and was elected President in 2011.
Her project management experience has been built in both the private and the public sector, and based on this experience she has established the building blocks that can help ensure project success in both sectors given their different conditions and culture. The concept 'Context Based Project Management' has proven its worth on numerous projects.
In addition to project management, Annette is a workshop trainer and coach. Her focus is on insistantly bringing value to businesses by identifying and eliminating redundant or unnecessary tasks and focusing on true progress and value.
