A comparison of e-Health strategies and implementations in European countries. The presentation will summarize the results of a recently concluded EC funded study on the progress of EHR and ePrescribing implementations as well as telemedicine in the EU and EEA countries. In addition, the presentation will shed light on the governance issues and continuing financial and legal challenges surrounding eHealth in the EU. Key lessons to be learned from successful countries will be summarized.
