Smart eGov: The Slovak Model of Agentic Governance (15 min)

Artificial intelligence can put an end to the maze an ordinary person gets into when handling life situations at government offices. The key is a „digital map“ of the state that describes competencies and procedures, based on which AI will both advise and act. The goal is not to redo the entire e‑government, but to make it reliably and securely accessible.

From the insurer to the office: why it's so easy to get lost in the state system

The talk begins with a familiar experience: after a minor car collision comes a flurry of phone calls, web forms, and unclear instructions. It looks similar in public administration, where a citizen in a specific life situation often has no idea which office, which form, and in what order are needed. We used to ask acquaintances and then search on Google; today we ask artificial intelligence. However, without firm guardrails it answers confidently, but not always correctly.
