Real-world experience and what's next

The first deployment took place at the Department of Surgery at the University Hospital in Hradec Králové and gradually expanded to nine clinics. During its operation, the system monitored thousands of surgeries and complications and recorded hundreds of oncology cases. The outputs help teams coordinate work and identify trends in care quality more quickly. The presentation emphasized that the generated overviews are directly usable in everyday practice.

The expected benefits were also highlighted: simplifying work with data, better evaluation of complications, and the potential to reduce costs. Medicon is offered as a modular software-as-a-service, which makes it easier to roll out in different environments. The next steps include connecting to artificial intelligence and expanding predictive features, with the creators looking for opportunities for pilot projects.
