Development and deployment of the Management information system supporting analysis and statistical surveys in the area of unemployment benefits and guarantee insurance benefits in the Social Insurance Agency has simplified and accelerated providing of statistical reports generated on a monthly basis. The Social Insurance Agency is obliged to provide these reports for the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic and for the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic. In addition to other business processes the system supports creating and subsequent processing of ad hoc statistical reports built with various criteria.
The system is based on software products Pentaho Mondrian and Softec Invenio. Pentaho Mondrian is an OLAP server implemented in Java, supporting MDX query language, XML standards for analysis  and Java OLAP. Softec Invenio is an analytical tool supporting the creation of ad hoc analysis and serving as a presentation layer.
