Mgr. Bibiána Obrimčáková received her degree from the Faculty of Education in Banská Bystrica in 1988. After graduation from the university, she taught at elementary schools in the Stropkov and Svidník districts, and she taught from 1993 - 1998 at the Secondary Vocational Agricultural School in Stropkov. In 1998 she accepted a position at the Gymnasium in Stropkov. One year later she became its director, until her assignment at the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic in 2006.
