The Malina portal aims to make the patient's path to follow-up and long-term care easier. It promises faster searching for available places and help with choosing the appropriate type of service—from hospitals to social care facilities. It developed gradually from tests in hospitals to a public portal and today is also targeting hospitals directly.

When hospitalization is not the end of the story

A medical intervention in a hospital often does not conclude a patient's health story. Many find themselves at a crossroads of further decisions that are demanding for them and their loved ones. In the tangle of different facilities and types of care, it is hard to choose the right step in time. Late or inappropriate assistance increases the risk of rehospitalizations, destabilization of health status, or even death.

Uncertainty and helplessness among families are common. What is needed is rapid guidance to specialists and to services that can genuinely help. Malina focuses precisely on this critical stretch "after the hospital".
