CIP - Central Integration Platform

Ivan Stračiak - , Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic ·

Presentation of the Central Integration Platform project. The aim of the project is to streamline data integrations and the work of public administration staff in this area, to upgrade the technical capabilities of the system and to make data quality tools available to public authorities.

The central integration platform development project promises higher-quality data, simpler system connections, and better services for citizens. Although the average user will not see it on screen, it brings tools that improve data sharing and processing in public administration. By the end of the year, its full functionality is to be made available to public authorities.

Why the platform was created and what it addresses

The platform builds on the central data exchange solution introduced in 2015, which applies the "once-only" principle. The aim is for authorities not to require citizens and businesses to provide information the state already has, and to exchange it electronically. In recent years, integration links and the volume of available data have expanded; the current phase brings modernization and new features for current and future users. The project is funded by the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure.
