The future of projects in public administration - an agile approach to implementation
The future of projects in public administration will be guided by the needs of citizens and businesses, not technology for technology’s sake. Ivan Ivančin from MIRRI SR outlined how pressure for digital transformation, population aging, and the commitments of Digitálnej dekády 2030 will translate state IT into practical steps. The keys will be high-quality services, secure infrastructure, and the systematic strengthening of digital skills. The state is focusing on the citizen and the entrepreneur, which means increasing the quality and availability of services and narrowing the gap between what e-services offer and what people know how to use. Demographic trends and population aging increase the need for simpler services and better digital literacy. In parallel, an evolution of public procurement is expected, with an emphasis on quality criteria and proven best practices. External pressure also comes from the EU: the national strategy is to build on Digitálnu dekádu 2030 and bring a “facelift” to the NKIVS framework. Why public-sector IT is changing
