Healthcare is struggling with a shortage of health professionals and innovation. In this paper, we will look at how the digital transformation of the process of preparation and administration of drugs will help us increase the quality and safety of health care provided. Electronization, robotics and data are the basic prerequisites for achieving this goal.

Rastislav Karbas is the CEO of Prosoft Košice. During his extencive experience in the IT sector, he worked on several projects at home and abroad in the field of design and implementation of information systems and data centers, primarily targeting security aspect. Since 2015, he has been dedicated to the digitization of services in healthcare, where, together with the team, he is behind the introduction of pilot projects eRecept, eLab and the development of other services for policyholders.
