A successful Smart City IoT case applied in one location does not necessarily bring the same positive impact in another location. The trend today is to create short-term IoT projects with a small budget. For these reasons, we have created SHAR-Q, a lightweight IoT operating system that helps you find and build IoT solutions in a variety of Smart City domains with a positive impact in an effective and iterative way. SHAR-Q is the result of an H2020 Framework Program and has been successfully tested in seven pilots in five European countries.

Adam Kapala
Adam Kapala works as the Solution Architect and ICT consultant for Digital Transformation at Atos. He graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Throughout ten years in ICT he gained experience in database programming, implementation of Smart Metering and implementation of EMS control algorithms. Recently, he has been focusing on IoT design solutions, transforming power engineering and SW robotization processes (RPA). SHAR-Q is already the third scientific research project where it works with other partners from different European countries on innovative ICT solutions.
