Electronization of health care is a hot topic not only in Slovakia but also in neighboring countries. There are concepts and processes which we can get inspired by our neighbors and vice versa. The fact that electronization of health care is progressing is also reflected in increasing numbers. Currently the most used services are eRecept services, thanks to which we no longer have to transmit paper prescriptions of our medicines between doctors and pharmacies. However, we are also making life easier by electronizing and sharing other electronic health records such as medical reports, lay-off reports, patient summaries, and so on. The number of health care professionals, outpatient clinics, pharmacies, hospitals and sanatoriums involved in the eHealth system continues to grow.
