State IT is in the process of transformation. As part of the first phase, the National Agency for Network and Electronic Services (NASES) fell under the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Informatisation (ÚPPVII). In this phase, competences have been defined. ÚPPVII acts as a coordinator of public administration information systems, it is responsible for the substantive framework and standards, and ensures political, legislative, methodological, coordination and supervisory aspects of state IT. NASES acts as a service organization, it is responsible for the operational framework and service delivery, and ensures the implementation, upgrading and operation of state IT solutions. In the running second phase of transformation, NASES is transforming into a modern and reliable operator and key partner in the overall digital transformation of Slovakia. The vision and strategy of NASES transformation will be presented by CEO Peter Ďurica.
