Ms Palojärvi is the Director for International Relations at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, where she has worked since 1996. In her work she is involved with developing international activities, preparing international agreements, multilateral and bilateral cooperation as well as coordination of matters concerning the European Union, United Nations and UNESCO. She also serves as a member in several committees and boards and has written numerous articles in several Finnish magazines and publications in the field of development policies, multi-cultural understanding and international politics.
