A great new world?
8:30 - 10:30 A great new world?
Welcome to the new world, in a world of chaos. Faster and faster chaos. Global climate change is already starting to seem pleasantly slow. But the pandemic and the war in Ukraine hastened the collapse of everything that seemed obvious to us. We have entered a new era, a new world that can be manipulative, hostile. But chaos is a ladder. Chaos is also an opportunity. Threats to gas supplies may lead to an end to the dominance period of fossil fuels and will lead to renewables in the economy. The pandemic led to a sharp increase in work from home. Conflicts can lead to new innovations. The energy crisis is giving new impetus to the transformation of the industry. What can be done to make the new world really great? How can Slovakia succeed in the new modern world? Does it have the ability to produce higher added value through the use of innovative tools? How to build Industry 4.0? How to start the knowledge economy?

The war in Ukraine has shown what is really important in the conflict in the 21st century. Not brute force, but information and accuracy. Not tank alliances, but satellite imagery and drones. Not armor, but digital innovation. So what follows technologically from the war in Ukraine?   What concepts have proven to be outdated? On the contrary, what is really effective? What role does cyber security play? What is the value of data and information in modern conflicts?
