8:30 - 10:20 Building a digital state
eGovernment has been under construction in Slovakia since 2007. Is the situation, after 13 years from the beginning ideal, or do we still have big challenges ahead of us? Is the national concept of public administration informatization the right way? How do its creators evaluate the concept and implementation today? Do they see a shift compared to the critical evaluation of the OPIS and the fulfillment of the previous concept? How do state officials see it? How does the new ruling party see it? What is the situation regarding the security of eGovernment in Slovakia?

Discussion
13:10 - 14:40 Where are the digitally skilled people?

We already lack tens of thousands of specialists today. Society doesn´t only need highly-specialized IT staff with university degrees. We lack bachelors, people from technically oriented secondary vocational schools and also people whom companies or even the state do not have to train immediately after the start of the next six months. People who know how to work in teams, speak English well and can read with understanding. Is the question "Where are the digital skilled people" still relevant?
