Lucia Kondáš


Ing. Lucia Kondáš, MBA

Graduated from Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Faculty of Civil Engineering. Her professional career is dedicated to implementation of new technologies and services in public and private sectors, management of inovative projects and establishment of state-of-the art knowledge and trends in various areas. She worked as project manager in IT, informatization of education and public services as well as executive on various levels of management in public and private institutions.

In 1999 – 2002 she worked at the Government Office of Slovakia, later appointed as a CIO of the Government Office and advisor to the Prime Minister´s Office for ICT. In 2002 Lucia took the position of Project Manager in Slovak Telecom for eSlovakia Programme, later extended with the project PCs for Schools. The project was awarded by several domestic and international awards (Via Bona 2004, World Communication Awards 2005 in the category of Project Management). In 2006 she established her own consulting company Arcys, focused on information society and communication. In 2007 she conducted technical assistance for the Governement of Macedonia financed through USAID. Project prepared action plans for informatisation of the regional education in Macedonia. In years 2010 and 2011 she worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic as a deputy director of Information Society division and head of the Dept. for the Strategy of Information Society.

Lucia is one of the founders of ITAPA International Congress, working as Director General in 2002-7 and now in external cooperation. In 2010 she graduated from joined Global Executive MBA program at Wirtschaftuniversität Wien and University of Minnessota. She is a co-founder and Member of the Board of NGO Viaticus.

She lives in Prague, Czech Republic and works as Senior Project Manager in IT & Telco.
