Adrián Belánik has been the Executive Director of the DataCentre of Electronization of Territorial Self-Government of Slovakia (DEUS) since July 2014. He joined this position after long-term work at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. From 2005 to 2013, he held the position of General Director of the Tax and Customs Section at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, where he focused on important agendas such as tax reform, the introduction of the euro and consolidation of public finances. Under his leadership, the Financial Statements Project was awarded 3rd place in the New Services category and was awarded at the International ITAPA Conference 2014. With the launch of the Registry, Slovakia became the second country in the world to make the company's financial data Open Data Set. Under the leadership of DEUS, the Data Center of Municipalities and Cities project was implemented under his leadership, through which a cross-departmental information system for self-government under the known name DCOM was built. This solution is also confirmed by the EuroCloud award at the international level in the category Best cloud service for the vertical market. DCOM is currently used by more than 70% of municipalities and towns in Slovakia.
