Veronika Remišová was born on May 31, 1976, in Žilina. She graduated from the College of Performing Arts and also graduated from the Paris-Sorbonne University and the Collège d’Études Interdisciplinaires in Brussels. She completed the prestigious Higher Education Cert in the United Kingdom. She worked as Member of Parliament in Municipal Policy, served in the European Commission for almost 10 years, and as a teacher she passed on her experience to students at universities in Bratislava and Ružomberok. In March 2020, she was appointed the Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Informatization.
