8:30 - 10:15 Innovative Slovakia: How to Elevate Slovak Industry and Healthcare to a Higher Level?

Significant resources are coming from Brussels to Slovakia, which we will be able to utilize in the coming years. Concerning these resources, Slovakia prepares a National Integrated Reform Plan, which will define the allocation of these resources. A new programming period is also being prepared, which will define a significant part of public investment until 2027. At the same time, the new government declares its pro-reform orientation. What reform awaits Slovakia? How will we use the new resources to transform and restart the Slovak economy? Will we be able to make Slovakia an innovative, competent, but also inclusive country, which will be an inspiration for the rest of the world and Europe? Find out more in the discussion Innovative Slovakia: from Zero to Hero?

15:15 - 17:00 Public procurement: how to buy innovations (SESSION PARTNER: PEDAL CONSULTING)
Slovakia has not been able to raise funds towards the end of the programming period. Projects cost money, which is not withdrawn. Now comes the new programming period with another package of resources. This time, so far the largest Reconstruction Fund resources are expected to be delivered. Up until now, the debate has been mainly focusing on how to prioritize them and what they should be used for. But are we even able to procure this money? Won´t it result in not being able to procure the resources and eventually lose access to them as the last time? What can be done to prevent such a situation?  How to prepare for the biggest onslaught of procurement that Slovakia has ever experienced?
