RNDr. Peter Musil, PhD. is a graduate of the interdisciplinary study of biomedical physics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics and the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava. In the years 2006-2016 he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Bratislava and as a co-investigator of several national and international projects. He is a co-author of 17 foreign scientific papers registered in the SCOPIS database, HI-7. He currently works as the head of the Project Center of the Medical Faculty of Charles University and as an assistant professor at the Medical Faculty of SZU (biophysics and physiology). He specializes in flow cytometry, image analysis, imaging techniques in collaboration with the International Laser Center, culture of human somatic cells, including stem cells for basic research as well as for the clinical application. He holds the CliniMACS CD133 certificate for the separation of stem cells from bone marrow.
